Sometimes, the answers to some of your questions are so very simple. They probably plague you for days and weeks on end and it could be because you refuse to look at the most basic and simplest of explanations.
Eg: why does someone make no effort to keep in touch with you?
Think no further. The answer, as they say, is plain and simple.
They don’t want to.
And yes, this is a reasonable explanation that doesn’t warrant a second “why?”. Accept and move the hell on.

>I had a very close friend in school, someone I thought was the closest to me. I got to meet him again after a few years. I didn't talk much: I didn't want to. I saw him again after I started working in an MNC and he was working in a local textile mill. I couldn't talk to him then as well. During both meetings he looked like he expected the same friendship from me again. But I didn't want him anymore. God knows why. Sigh!
